Abstract (EN)

Gender affects the fields of health, education, economy. Within this scope, the resulting discrimination prevents women from accessing resources in economic, social, cultural, health and similar fields. Within the framework of women's right to health and reproductive rights, which are among the most basic human rights, family planning practices are prioritized due to the social roles and political influences while access to women's sexual and reproductive health, which are vitally important, is limited. Relevant basic concepts, firstly, the context of women's health and women's health practices in general are covered from the perspective of gender in our study, followed by the HPV vaccination and abortion practices in the anglo-saxon law are covered from the perspective of gender and patient rights about women's sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights. Lastly, mentioned practices in Turkey are discussed from the same perspective.
