Abstract (EN)

This study, which is called "Compactification in Topological Spaces",is the importent subject of General Topology and includes five chapters. In the first chapter; the definitions and some fundamental concepts are given by the title "Preliminaries". In this study, the compact spaces are extensivelly investigated since they sholud be known very well to understand this subject. In the second chapter; it is dwell upon compactness concept and equivalent conditions, and it is talked about the relations between compactness and Hausdorff Spaces. In the third chapter;the fundamental theorems about the subspaces, products and continuous images of compact spaces are examinated. In the fourth chapter; The subjects; sequentially compactness, limit point compactness, countable compactness, paracompactness and local compactness are studied as kinds of compactness. In the fifth and last chapter, Alexandroff Compactification and Stone-Čech Compactification are investigated details after giving the concept of compactification. Moreover, Importent examples are given in the each chapter to understand the subjects easily.
