Abstract (EN)

High temperature materials need to have high oxidation and creep resistance and low density. The NiAl intermetallics (especially NiAl and Ni3Al) which have combination of these properties are promising materials however shaping process is difficult because of their brittle structure.Thesis held in, has an important role in terms of studying missing or unperformed properties of solderability of the materials in the conventional and microwave environments with brazing materials. In the light of this importance the aim of this study is providing continue to work of high temperature materials without changing material, if cracking, braking or distortion occurs. In this study NiAl group intermetallics have been produced combining with Ti, Cr and Co. The weight proportion of NiAl and depand metals designed respect to prior studies and samples densitified by sintering techniques.Shear strength and hardness of produced samples were measured, volumetric change and density of the samples were identified and XRD analysis was performed.Intermetallic materials produced by conventional and microwave sintering soldered by conventional and microwave furnaces with S2 and S28 hard brazes. SEM and EDX analyses performed to soldered intermetallics to examine braze and intermetallic interface. At the final step the shear strength of soldered intermetallics were measured. Results compared with the shear strength of base intermetallic samples. The result that obtained from this test compared with the shear test results of sintered samples and both test results added to result part. The best results after brasing are in conventional brazing Cr and Co compositions both are 243 Mpa in Microwave oven Cr addition is 143 Mpa, Co composition is 191 MPa Microwave oven is more advantaged but in this study this situation is not proved.
