The search of concepts and expectations of the businnessman from trabzon related to the act of sponsorship in sports

Sport, today is regarded as the most important social factor which influences the large crowds of people. Financial sources (economic funds) sport and sportive activities need are getting larger and larger. Therefore it is important that different financial sources should be found. Sponsorship is regarded as the most important method to provide economic-fund. It is also very crucial from point view of application that sponsorship should bu encouraged by the law. And also, it is necessary that foundation or people to volunteer the sponsor should be aware of the law. Unfortunately it is obvious that the law which was realized the sponsor the sport couldn?t get expected support. It is essential that the concepts of the people and the foundations who will sponsor must be determined to determine the inefficient points related to the ?act of sponsorship?. In this study, it has been aimed to search for the concepts and expectations of the businnessman from Trabzon related to the ? Act of Sponsorship in Sports?.The universe of this study consisted of the people who paid for the most tax also foundation in Trabzon; but sampling consisted of the first 100 people and foundations as tax-recordmen. 200 foundation have been sent questionarie forms but 104 businnessman who sent the formas back joined the study as participants. The questionarie from consisted of 2 parts. In the first part , personal spesifications and choices consisting of 10 questions have been questioned in the second part, with 6 questions, how aware the business are of the ?Act of Sponsorship? has been questioned, with 4 questions, why they want to sponsor has been questioned with 5 questions, why they don?t want to sponsor has been questioned with other 5 questions, what they suggest for sponsorship has been questioned by using questionarie- method. The complied data has been arranged in MS Excel for statistic. In SPSS , validity and reliability tests have been applied on the questionaries terms.As statistic tests in SPSS, crosstabulation and Chi-square have been practised. The test results have shown that the level of sportive habitd of the agency directors and businesman- tax recordmen is very low and that they haven?t been aware ?Act of Sponsorship in Sports? and that they mostly would like to sponsor with the aim of serving to sports and the youth and that they don?t want to sponsor on the grounds of social formalities, they want to sponsor in the cities where there are tax-officies and that they would like only one unıt having to organize sponsorship and that they demand field and level- limitation.
