Abstract (EN)
In this study, a hydraulically driven train axle assembly disassembly equipment was designed and manufactured with the aim of minimizing the health risks while improving the occupational safety of the employees and performing the maintenance of the metro, light rail and tram vehicles used in the rail transport systems in a shorter time. The equipment which designed and manufactured consists of a wheel clutch consisting of three movable arms, two movable arms with a metal head to press on the top of the axle, a hydraulic piston to provide the disassembly process with a press, a hydraulic motor to operate this piston and a wheeled chassis carrying the whole system. The equipment is mounted on a wheeled chassis with fixed height which moved with manpower, the vertical movement of the wheel group components that are intended to be disassembled will be made with an electrical height adjustable axle vise. The system is controlled by an electrical control panel that can provide mobility.As a result of the analyzes made, it has been seen that the apparatus can perform the planned functional movements and the removal of the axle box and wheel bandage without any problems.
