Abstract (EN)

It is a historical reality that the Turks dominated the Indian geography for more than a thousand years together with the Pre-Islamic period. Although this dominance in the gigantic Indian geography was interrupted from time to time, it was able to continue at the local level or after a while, a new Turkish tribe made the region accept his supremacy. Mixing with the crowded local elements of the times, the Turks adapted to the region and they were distinguished from other tribes with their superior warrior characteristics. Punjab has often been the entrance gate for the Turks to India, sometimes established a base and sometimes a homeland, which the Turks took. The Turks who settled in India together with the Scythians, and then the Kushans, Huns, Ghaznavids and dynasties of the Turkish Sultanate of Delhi, established a permanent superiority that would last for centuries. One of the most magnificent of these dynasties, the Tughluq dynasty, especially during the reign of Sultan Mohammed Tughluq, rose to be the sole ruler of India, but at the same time, there were numerous rebellion attempts against this Sultan.
