Abstract (EN)
Magnificent developments and changes in technology is causing changes not only in production but also in consumption. Demand on web and mobile based technologies thanks to being easy to access by consumers to the new mobile technology, fast growing of mobile applications usage in daily life and relatively decrease on cost of mobility. Usage rate of wearable technology is increasing as well parallel to the mobile technologies. Wearable technology consist of devices which can be dressed, attached or buried to the clothes or the body. The purpose of this study is to point out the adoption of the wearable technologies as the new technology by the customers. The research model is based on the theories of the adoption of new technologies on the basis of Unified Technology Acceptance and Use Theory-2 (UTAUT-2). Data is collected by the survey method for determination of effecting power of this factors. research hypotheses were tested with correlation and regression analyzes. Consequences of analyses show that effecting factors are performance expectation over behavioral intention, social effect, hedonistic motivation, price-value, habitual, modernism, confidentiality risks and variables of result exhibition ability. Study concludes with the discussion of research results and findings.
