The problems and solution proposals as a to art in the example of Turgut Pura Foundation

Today, activities in many fields are events are organized with sponsorship support. Culture and art activities are also one of the important branches of these areas. In particular, institutions/organizations/foundations operating in the field of arts experience various problems regarding sponsorship. Since foundations cannot create sufficient budgets, the activities organized cannot be carried out as planned which this situation is one of the most important of these problems. For this reason, foundations need sponsorship support. Within this scope, the problems experienced by the Turgut Pura Foundation, which was established in 1982, in terms of sponsorship were taken into consideration and it was aimed to offer various solutions. This study is based on literature review, question-answer and survey method. With the data obtained from these studies, it has been tried to determine what kind of dimensions the problems have. In addition, other Yaşar Education and Culture Foundation and Shamil Education and Culture Foundation, which organize activities in the field of culture and arts were compared with Turgut Pura Foundation. When the information obtained through the comparison of Turgut Pura Foundation and other foundations is evaluated together with the questionnaire applied to the participants of the competition and the members of the competition jury; it has been determined that the participants are generally satisfied with the painting and sculpture competitions organized by the Turgut Pura Foundation. Yaşar Education and Culture Foundation and Shamil Education and Culture Foundation did not encounter any significant problems in exhibiting the works participating in the competitions they organized, and all foundations emphasized the necessity of sponsorship in the field of culture and arts.
