Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the conscious awareness levels and psychological endurance levels of tourist guides. In line with the stated purpose, firstly national and international related literature was screened. Later, a survey was applied to the tourist guides in order to reach this goal. In the study, it was investigated whether there is a significant relationship between the conscious awareness levels of tourist guides and psychological endurance levels. The universe of the study is composed of 13,549 tourist guides affiliated to the Association of Tourist Guides and 324 tourist guides who perform their profession in action. The research, which examines the relationship between conscious awareness levels of tourist guides and psychological resilience, consists of five parts. In the first part, the subject, purpose, importance, assumptions and limitations of the research are explained; in the second part, the information that is revealed as a result of the field about the subject. In the third part, the model and hypotheses of the research were revealed, the universe and sample were explained, data collection tools and techniques and data collection process were mentioned and data analysis was performed. All the findings in the fourth section are interpreted. In the fifth section, the results of the research were included and suggestions were made. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was no significant relationship between the conscious awareness levels of the participants and their psychological resilience, and that conscious awareness was a significant relationship between the challenge dimension of psychological resilience. On the other hand, conscious awareness, psychological resilience, has been shown not to be a meaningful relationship between the dimension of self-commitment and control.
