Abstract (EN)

Syndicated loans occupy an important place among international loantechniques. Although the indepted is an interprise, the part providing the funds must bea group of banks. The process of running syndication loans is a complex one and needconsiderable effort.After evaluating the proposals, the enterprise using the loan starts the process ofsyndication by choosing the most appropriate proposal accarding to it?s need andvalidates it in writing. The delegated bank, is from this moment on, liable to assumeresponsibility on matters on whom it is made responsible. The bank is assume thisresponsibility in the shortest of terms, invite other participant banks to syndication formand assign a group of managers, undersign the agreement and allow the loan to be usedby the client.Syndication loans which are technique of international loan are mainly resortedto in the fields of special projects financing, acquisitions, mergers and foreign commercefinancing.In parallel with global trends, the importance of syndication loans increase inTurkey and are considered by banks as a significant loan instrument.Key Words 1) credit 2) syndication 3) lead menager 4) interest 5) fee
