A research about the values that take place in the folk-literature texts on Turkish literature via language and expression lecture notes

On this study; national, moral, humanistic, spiritual and cultural values that take place on the Turkish Literature via Language and Expression lecture notes which were published by Ministry of National Education in 2005, are determined ; the basics on the topic of how the value transfer on the Turkish Literature via Language and Expression education must be , are presented.In the initial chapter, definition of the value, its function, classifications ,characteristics and education; definitions about terms of norm, social control and culture; the evolution process on the Turkish Literature via Language and Expression programs beginning from the year of 1924 and the basics of how the values are located in this programs are absolutely mentioned.Depending on the problem circumstances, aim of the research, its importance, boundedness, premise and definitions are stated.In the study, the method of descriptive area examination is applied. The research universe is formed by ?Turkish Literature via Language and Expression lecture notes? suggested by Ministry of National Education; sample is composed by the folk literature texts that take place on Text Investigation and Understanding Explicating parts in this lecture notes. The values performed in the texts are transfered to the computer program by keeping records from relevant texts, after the obtained records are classified by qualitative sides ,they are analized by using the method of descriptive area examination.Consequently, it can be seen that mostly love and religion values take place in the secondary education Turkish Literature via Language and Expression lecture notes. Besides that love and religion values, the followings are the values of patriotism, heroism, reward, charitableness. Seperately, it is obviously seen that ;some values mentioned in Turkish Literature lecture notes , don?t take place in Language and Expression lecture notes. On the other hand, the values of giving importance to be healthy, being faithful and being sophisticated are rarely seen.Key words : Values, value education, Turkish Literature via Language and Expression lecture notes.
