Political documents dealing with the qualifications of rulers in Turkish-Islamic Period (X-XV. yy.)

Siyasat- nama Literatures are works which have been written for Kings with a power and political authority in the early and middle ages. Almost in each ''Siyasat- nama Literature'' the attributes and characteristics which should have the Rulers, the conditions and principles of state administration and reign are sorted and discussed. According to period's mind and mentality it explains how should the management style be. Siyasat- nama Literatures serve as a bridge between people and the Kings. They are books which have been written to remind rulers about their mission and to guide them. Nowadays, Siyasat-nama Literatures that have been written from X centuries in response to the problems of the period or to Rulers, have found a chance to be evaluated. Siyasat- nama Literatures which were as the crop of Turkish- İslamic culture in the same period, have been evaluated in a one frame, characteristics which should have each Ruler have been examined, changes during the same period have been determined. While examining we have also touched upon the importance of İslam in the Turkish people and the situation of Turkish states in X-XV cencuries.
