Abstract (EN)
Art has attained symbols/symbols by coming to life with lines and colors on the cave walls. The human being, whose intuition has developed with the struggle for life, has developed rituals formed within the framework of animal symbols, such as fear, which is the most natural impulse, access to animal power, and the desire to have a fruitful hunt. In the formation of the work of art, there are state structure, religious moral elements, and geographical and sociological features. Societies are in mutual interaction and exchange in the field of culture and art. However, originality in art; It has been achieved by preserving its essence and by carrying it as a result of original developments that will give clues about the future by feeding from various elements. Turks have created their own unique language of expression in the historical process and brought very important works to the world of culture and art. This original, that is, the expression style, has been matured by distillation in thousands of years time series and is positioned in an exceptional place in world art. In this context, Turkish culture has created an original and rich repertoire by using symbolic, mythological and religious motifs that are considered extremely meaningful and important. Various visual and mythological animal symbols that take their place in the memory of the society have a special importance. An important part of these motifs are seen as related to a certain region or region. Although there are many symbolized animal figures in Turkish culture, in this study the "Rooster" symbol is discussed and examined in all its dimensions. When the subject is evaluated within the scope of Anatolian geography, it is known that the concept of the rooster is accepted as identical to Denizli province. In this study, the above-mentioned issue was handled with all its dimensions, and in a sense, an interdisciplinary evaluation was carried out. In this context, it has been examined not only in the field of visual arts but also in the fields of poetry, literature, and music. In the research, scientific publications, books, and articles, as well as publications related to the issue in the local press, were scanned and a unique dimension was brought to the subject.
