Abstract (EN)

One of the most important goals of people is to maintain their lives in health and wellness and if they are working, to continue their profession without a dismissal. Yet, some upcoming social risks which are unclear when they will emerge are interrupting the targets and daily lives of people. Because of occupational accidents and diseases, sickness and maternity cases, which are also named as ?short-term social risks?, people encounter with troubles not only with reduction in income but also with increase in expenditure. In order to resolve sudden problems of the individuals and to ensure their dodging this situation with the least damage; there are some social security applications of Social Security Establishment. In this thesis; short-term risks which are possible to emerge and application and grants of Social Security Establishment in the event of these risks are reviewed; rights and obligations of the insured employee and state about this subjects are stated expressly.Furthermore, in this thesis; some judicial decisions about occupational accidents have examined and have tried to explain how the subject is perceived in terms of judicial and Social Security Establishment. Since, there are some differences within the context of the application and judiciary, especially for the occupational accidents and the individuals can mostly gain their rights at the end of the judicial process.
