Abstract (EN)

In recent years, behavioral finance has become a frequently discussed and researched concept in academia. Understanding behavioral trends is more effective than certain predictions and expectations in financial decision making, so it is necessary to identify, investigate and understand the function of these trends and evaluate the consequences of these factors. From the past to the present, human beings appear in many types, not only physically, but also in behavior. These behaviors differ for each person Since the beginning of the 20th century, economics and finance experts have focused more on financial behaviours, recognizing the importance of behavioral characteristics and variability in the financial field. For this reason, they have begun to examine the decision-making phase and behavioral changes of individuals in the investment process. Technical analysis while investing, basic knowledge and theoretical knowledge are used. However, another equally important factor is behavior. In this study, it was investigated whether the financial behaviours differ according to the demographic characteristics and financial profiles of the investors. Accordingly, it has been determined that the behavioral finance tendencies of Turkish individual stock investors differ significantly according to the investor's working time, education level and the share they allocate from their income for investment.
