Abstract (EN)

In this study, which aims to examine teachers' opinions on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in Turkish teaching, the phenomenology pattern of the qualitative research method was preferred. Maximum diversity sampling and criterion sampling, which are among the purposeful sampling methods, were used to determine the study group of the research. The research analyzes how teachers perceive artificial intelligence technologies, for what purposes they use these technologies, how they evaluate their roles in educational processes, and their views on ethical use. The study aims to examine teachers' perceptions, attitudes and experiences regarding this technology in order to understand the effective and ethical use of artificial intelligence in teaching Turkish. Within the scope of the research, teachers' opinions were analyzed by including their opinions on how they use artificial intelligence in learning areas such as writing, evaluation and individualized learning. The data collection process was carried out through a qualitative semi-structured interview form, and the obtained data was systematically analyzed in line with content analysis and thematic analysis approaches. Help was also received from MAXQDA and NVivo programs, which are qualitative data analysis programs. According to the research findings, teachers emphasize the opportunities of artificial intelligence in education to increase student motivation and offer students individualized teaching processes according to their personal needs; They also express concerns about the ethical use of technologies, data security and privacy. It was concluded that in order to use artificial intelligence technologies more efficiently in teaching Turkish, teachers' digital usage skills should be increased and ethical rules should be clarified. In addition, the research offers plans to make the role of artificial intelligence in education more effective and provides guiding information for educators.
