Abstract (EN)
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, in their presentations with Inflation and Financial Stability Reports, emphasizes that basically inflationist pressures are caused by global developments and the developments in public finances don?t bring important risks on the monetary policy. The aim of this essay is to attract attention to the existence of the need for serious improvements on more effective fiscal policy application which supports the currency policy and consistent with it. At the same time, these discussions have the potential for questioning the independence of the TCMB. Keywords: 1. Price stability 2. Financial stability 3. Fiscal discipline 4. Fiscal dominance 5.
