Investigation under geographic information system of disaster management policies in Turkey

As a product of information technology, Geographic Information Systems(GIS) provides great opportunities for the solution of increasing problems in disaster and disaster management. The reason for using GIS in disaster management; control of demolitions is to help reduce the damaging consequences of disaster and protect lives and resources. Based on the literature in this study, first as a conceptual framework of disaster management, disaster policy, are discussed CBS later in the World and Turkey disaster management and policy, the historical development of these issues, the legal regulations in Turkey about disaster management, disaster management and GIS relationship, GIS is being put forth the ethical dimensions related to disaster management, however, studies related institutions of internet pages and their work published studies and reports for disaster management and disaster policy in Turkey examined the CBS special in Turkey and its relationship with disaster management policy.
