Turkey Azerbaijan foreign trade relations and Turkish companies

After gaining its independency in 1991 Azerbaijan Republic has adapted the strategy of growing to the outer market and the free market economy. Trading relations strengthened especially due to the affect regarding petrol agreements and hosted a very important amount of foreign capital investments. On the first chapter of the study we observed the economic situation of the country during the period of the Soviet and the economic structure of Azerbaijan after gaining the independency plus the developments of the economic structure in Azerbaijan after 1990. On the second chapter, the collaboration in different sectors and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have been handled after the gaining of independency in Azerbaijan. Especially the import and export products between the two countries have been evaluated and the comparison was made with the other countries economic share proportions. On the third chapter foreign investment factors, the applied politics to draw foreign capital investments, the dispersion of foreign capital investments, the investments made to Azerbaijan by Turkey and the contribution of GSMH has been studied.
