Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, in-service training activities held at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey were reviewed and evaluated. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate in-service training with the purpose of enhancing knowledge, skills and competencies of the administrative staff of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, enabling them to prepare their tasks more effectively and efficiently and be prepared better for their subsequent tasks. Findings will be used for more relevant and effective implementation of in-service training activities and it is expected to provide valuable insight for institutions and decision makers.In this document; the author serves a comprehensive literature review concerning the planning, organization and evaluation of in-service training. Thus the goal is to present a synthesis of the theoretical knowledge in both domestic and foreign literature. Furthermore, in the light of these findings one can decide what the service training activities should be about.Another purpose of the study is to make a descriptive case study by screening the 169 of the Assembly? staff view related to in-service training activities organized by Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Finally, the views of the administrative staff of the Assembly participated in in-service training are evaluated by the scope, training environment and transportation, the teaching process, instructors aspects, as well as an overall evaluation.
