Abstract (EN)

The first aim of this research is to demonstrate the historical development of children's museums established in Turkey and children's toys exhibited in these museums within the framework of scientific criteria. It has been found that the history of the emergence of children's toys dates back to ancient societies and that toys are an important factor in the education of the child. As a matter of fact, it has been revealed by modern science that play and toy activities play an important role in the development of children's mental creativity and physical abilities. The second aim of this research is to solve the question of the extent to which the toys found in Denizli Balci House Zeynep Karaaslan cloth doll museum reflect Turkish culture and the cultural values of Denizli region. . In this context, about 500 rag doll toys in the museum in question were selected from the daily life and cultural values of Denizli region and evaluated in the light of scientific criteria.
