Abstract (EN)
This thesis work is done to bring up similarities and differences between the history programs of the high school education in Austria and Türkiye. In this research, high school history education programs in Türkiye and Austria are analyzed. While the analyzing high school programs and education systems, it is benefited from the library and web sites. The schools, lessons durations, subject of history are made table and commented. The subject of history lessons programs of Türkiye and Austria are compared by making tables. The thesis is formed three parts except entry. In the first part, the problem, the sub-problems, the importance of the research, the relevant publications and researches, the hypothesis, the scope and restraints, the definations and the conceptional outline take place. In the second part, the high school (9, 10, 11, 12. classes) in Turkish Education System take place. In the thirt part, a conclusion is driven and suggestions are made in light of the achieved result.
