Abstract (EN)

In this study, first of all, the concept of banking is mentioned. What the concept of banking means, its history and types of banking are examined. We can define the banking system as a system in which the funds of individuals with a surplus of savings are collected by providing interest earnings or dividend earnings, and the collected funds are used by individuals who need excess savings in return for debt. In the following sections of the study, participation banking, which is a type of banking, is mentioned. Participation banking carries out all banking transactions according to Islamic finance, which is an interest-free banking approach. According to Islamic finance, it is halal to trade and earn from the trade. In the understanding of participation banking, it is not appropriate to carry out activities that are high in terms of interest, uncertainty and risk. In participation banking, banking transactions are not carried out on issues such as alcohol, gambling, cigarettes and weapons. Participation banks have established an "Advisory Committee" in order to carry out banking activities in accordance with the principles of Islamic finance. The products to be offered by participation banks to their customers must also obtain approval from the advisory committee formed after the approval of the bank's board of directors. Advisory committees work independently. Participation banks are competing in the banking sector. In addition, the meaning of participation banking, the products used by participation banking, and finally, the concept of humanitarian banking, which does not favor interest earnings, were mentioned. The concept of humanitarian finance is a concept that is evaluated under the title of finance in the economic system. The religion of Islam prohibits the avoidance of waste and riba. It also encourages the giving of zakat. This situation has shed light on the formation of the economic system as a financial factor of social justice and income distribution among individuals. In the capitalist system, the financial system taken from the poor and given to the rich has not been accepted by the Islamic economy. The capitalist financial system encourages consumption and waste. In the Islamic economy, in contrast to this situation, it implemented the financial system, which is based on partnership with labor. Among the basic values of the Islamic economy can be listed as not eating the right of servants, preventing waste, having a fair distribution of income, and spreading prosperity and happiness to everyone.
