Abstract (EN)
Throught history mankind has been the most important requirement of energy. This requirement, together with the industrial revolution and has accelerated machine. Energy today is the world?s most important strategic resource.OPEC countries have monopoly over the world, not the oil-rich countries have become dependent. This situation is a factor in increasing important dependence for oil-rich countries that have been identified.In this study, the World and in Turkey, the politics of energy sources are addressed. In addition, Turkey?s economic growth, energy consumption and current account deficit the relationship has been analyzed. As a result of the econometric analysis an increase in energy consumption, increase economic growth, in this case the effect was to increase the current account deficit.
