Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate comparison of updated Primary School?s Information Technology Syllabus to ?Syllabus of Computer Lesson in Primary Schools? published on September 1998 number 2492 of National Education Ministry?s Tebliğler Journal and syllabus of Swedish Primary Schools Computer Education.Working group was consisting of teachers who worked in Adana in 2008-2009 Education Terms and started teaching before 2006.Using computers and their opportunities efficiently is not only important for its lesson and area but also it?s important for other lessons and areas. For that reason teaching computer is not only teaching computer.In the research which takes this sentence as a starting point, the syllabuses of computer education in Turkey are investigated; the new syllabus was evaluated with the critics of the previous syllabus. After this evaluation comparison of Sweden?s Primary Schools? computer education which takes first three ranks in The Global Information Technology Report of World Economic Forum was done.
