Abstract (EN)
In this study, 30 different beer samples purchased from Turkish markets, were stored at 5 °C until analysis and the sterigmatocystin residue of these samples was dedected by ultra high pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC). The validation of the analytical method used for detection of sterigmatocystin residue was made according to the linearity, repeatability, selectivity-specifity, recovery, limit of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) parameters. The correlation coefficient of calibration curve (r2) was found as 0.9999. LOD and LOQ values were determined as 1.48 ?g/l and 4.9 ?g/l, respectively. Mean recovery was obtained as 93.69%. Analysis were replicated five times by using duplicate samples, and sterigmatocystin was detected in any of the samples. As a result, it was determined that barley, malt, rice and wheat which are used in the production of beer sold in Turkish markets, are clean in terms of sterigmatocystin residue.
