Of sectoral energy consumption in Turkey effect on growth

In this study, Turkey's 1987-2015 annual with sectoral energy consumption using data is intended to test that growth can take place.The hypothesis of the study Turkey's agriculture, industry, energy consumption in the transportation and service sectors is to claim that the economic growth. To investigate whether sectoral energy consumption contributes to economic growth in the study, stationarity analyzes of the first set of model variables were conducted with the ADF test.Then the relations between the variables were investigated by the Johansen cointegration test and the Engle Granger causality test was applied with the Vector Error Correction Model. Finally, FMOLS, CCR and DOLS methods are used to estimate long term coefficients. The results of the tests performed are as follows: a) According to the results of the Augmented Dickey Fuller test, the variables are not stationary; they are stabilized at 5% after the difference is applied to the variables; b) The Johansen cointegration test was used to investigate a long-run relationship between variables and a long-run relationship was found between the variables at 5% level; c) According to the vector error correction model, a period of 24% of deviation from the long-term equilibrium was determined to be in equilibrium; d) According to the results of Engle Granger test, it was concluded that the agricultural sector increased energy consumption; e) Energy consumption increased by 1% in the long-term industrial sector compared to FMOL, CCR and DOLS. Increases to 0.5116%, up to 0.6549%.
