Abstract (EN)
In today's world, the rapid change of society and the renewal of self creates problems about the transfer of culture and cultural heritage to new generations. Especially with the development of technology, many cultures have fused and new cultures have emerged. The new societies formed wanted to continue their culture and actively used the museums they have seen as educational institutions from past to present for the transfer of cultural heritage to new generations. In addition to the transfer of culture to new generations, museums also have a duty to keep society together. The relationship between the society and the museum can be from the society to the museum as well as from the society to the museum. Bilateral interaction is important for shaping museums or shaping society. Naturally, the influences of the communities from the museum are also important for the institutions and organizations that manage the museum to convey their ideas and opinions to the society. In many societies throughout the world, museums have an example of shaping society. hese changes naturally occurred in the form of thoughts of the people who had power and tried to shape the society according to their own thoughts. During established and built heritage of the Republic of Turkey from the Ottoman Empire in the museum area it is actively used. From the cosmopolitan Ottoman society, a society based on a single nation and revealing the nation-state understanding was tried to be created. In our study, the cultural change of a society which is tried to be rebuilt in the historical process and how the administration tries to use the museums in the process of cultural change is tried to be examined.
