Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACHTThorough out the history, people had to cange places, not only because oftrade and the desire to explore new lands but also due to the calamities like wars,holitical opperession, etnic ceansing and drought.With changing places konwn as migration, societies met differentenvironments and different cultures. These encounters sometimes caused collision,but sometimes brought coherent living.This thesis covers the studies on approximately 650 East Turkistan Uygur Turkwho have settled down in the Kayseri region and still living there. According to fullycover the extent of the changes, inquiries, interviews and observations were carriedtowards the Kayseri group.These studies proved that the East Turkistan Uygur Turk living inTurkey/Kayseri, with the advantage of having culturel similarities, have mostlyentegrated to the Main Upper Culturel System im Turkey and also proserved some ofthe sensitivities showing chracteristics of diaspora.
