Ahmet Temir in the history of Turkology

With the emergence of Turkology as a branch of science, there have been many scientists working on it. One of them is the late Turkologist Prof. Dr. Ahmet TEMİR. In this thesis, his life, the education he received, the institutions he worked in after his education and the subjects he covered in his studies are discussed. First of all, Temir's biography was included, and then the status of Turcology before Temir and the status of Turcology developed around Temir were conveyed. Finally, the subject and content of his works were explained. It is very important that Temir is the first Mongolian working person in Turkey. Temir is not only limited to Mongolistics; his writings on Old Turkish, language discussions, biography, translation, Altayistik, Tatar language and geography are also important and discussed separately. Summary information about these studies was given and presented with an explanation.
