- Ill - ABSTRACT APPLICATION OF ULTRASONIC PULSE TRANSIT TIME METHOD ON CONCRETE SİYAHİ, Bilge M.S. in Civil Eng. Supervisor: Asos. Prof. Ömer Rıza Akgün January 1986, 53 pages In this study, non-destructive testing of concrete which is produced to be used in buildings in Eskişehir, using ultrasonic techniques has been investigated. The aim of the study is to determine concrete quality, to obtain the relationship between ultrasonic pulse velocity and compressive strength and how pulse velocity changes with concrete age. Being tested on 120 cubes specimens, the relationship between compressive strength and pulse velocity has been determined by means of least square technique.
