Design and implementation of web service based on service oriented architecture

In this thesis, the design and implementation of Integrated Map Service is realized for serving data, required for the disaster management, in different formats and projections, using OGC Web Services standards. Damaged buildings are captured in order to be used in response and recovery phases of disaster management. The data relared to damaged buildings are integrated to data holded in Integrated Map Service. The height values of preartquake buildings are compared to point cloud values of post-earthquake. Accuracy of the result is approximately is 95 %. With the Integrated Map Service, implemented using using open source software, the integration of data in different format without performing data transformation and display of data in different projection systems without doing reprojection is achieved.
