Abstract (EN)

International commerce had its present widely and complex structure through a process that developing very rapidly. Many countries of which thousands of banks, millions of purchasers ,vendors and transporters take part and governed with various rules, substitutes in this structural style. It is a need to have information for avoiding chaos in such occasions. However, this information should not be limited with those gained from close environment. Because , international commerce is very comprehensive. furthermore , it requires a large viewpoint. This study mentions the issues sometimes in macro levels,some times in details and generally aims to introduce the procedures with their international extents of which done without general regulations. In first chapter of study, inclinations of globalism, concept of commerce, indicating internal and external commerce, pre-circumstances of commerce and policies of external commerce are tried to be mentioned. In second chapter of study, payment styles used in international commerce, importance of determination of payment styles, characteristics of payment style adopted, benefits to contractors and risks they had, are mentioned.In this chapter, pay in cash, interchanging, document return pay, reception credit pay, consigment sale terms used in international payment are mentioned, acreditive payment that is most widely used both in the worl and in Turkey, mentioned in details. In third chapter, implementations of acreditive procedures in Turkish banking system, roles of banks, risks of acreditive procedures, importance of analising documents and documents analised during acreditive procedures, mentioning about cost and increment accounts of acreditive procedures in Turkish banking, implementations intending computations of costs and increments.
