Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine how university students' psychological resilience plays a mediating role in coping with stress. University students face many sources of stress at academic, social, and personal levels. These stressors can have significant effects on students' general mental health and academic success. Psychological resilience stands out as a trait that enhances individuals' capacity to cope with stress. In this study, it was investigated how psychological resilience affects students' stress levels and strengthens their coping skills. The research was conducted using questionnaires and scales to measure university students' levels of psychological resilience and their coping strategies for stress. Participants were administered the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) and the Perceived Stress Scale, both of which are valid and reliable measurement tools. The obtained data were evaluated using correlation and regression analyses to examine the relationship between psychological resilience and stress. The results of this study show that interventions aimed at increasing university students' psychological resilience can improve their coping skills and enhance their overall mental health. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of educational programs and psychological support services aimed at strengthening psychological resilience in universities.
