The use of university students of urban central districts in the evening and night time hours: Example of ankara city

The city centers host many urban activities as well as a spare time activities. This theis present the factors of utilization of urban regions both in evening and at night. The common role is subjected to university students who are determinate for night activities. The study in which it is for used on youngs, reveals the reasons of preferance of urban places and idea behind this choices. Therefore preference of youth on urban places and tendecy on entertainment event at night are all revealed. Within the scope of the research, Ankara city is selected to perform a specific study on univercity students. Thus, a total of 250 students were selected from two different campus of Cankaya University which is a foundation university in Turkey. According to the results of empirical research, the preferance of youths very from suburbans due to their gender, car, property residence duration, residance type, amount of expenses and passiry time to in center. On the other hard, security problems, traffic jam, lack of car, attracted places and available profer places their budgets are all factors affecting the preferences. Finally, it is found that problems an security transportations infrastructure economy have to be solved in order to sustain a 24 hours life in the city. Moreover news political issues, rules, regulations and permissions have to be defined to identify constructive.
