Abstract (EN)

In this study, surface water and bottom sediment samples, which taken from Keban Dam Lake analyzed in terms of 238U, 232Th and 40K radionuclides. Activity levels of samples are obtained with mathematical calculations and help of computer programs. Point Cumulative Semi Variogram (PCSV) method is applied to activity levels and graphics obtained for each sample station. Semi variogram (SV) can be defined briefly as the average of the half squared-differences between measurements in a region and PCSV considers the impact on each other points of a point. The radionuclide distribution in lake is explained with 10 PCSV models. In addition, iso-radyoactivity maps, which provided general information about radioactivity of lake are obtained. Finally, characterization of the lake with regard to three radionuclides is done with interpreting of graphs and maps. Key Words: Radioactivity; Uranium; Thorium; Potassium; Model; Transport; Distribution; Semi Variogram.
