Abstract (EN)

The frequency band widths in mobile communication systems is limited. Since the usage of mobile communication systems increases that involves using this limited band effectively. For this purpose, the adaptive antennas are suggested for the solution. Purpose of these antennas, is to find position of the user in the cell and radiate to only that direction. Also adaptive antenna system filters the noises of the signal and enlarges the capacity. We use adaptive algorithms in adaptive antenna system design. Recently, LMS (Least Mean Square) algorithm is mostly used. Reason of this is the high efficiency of the LMS algorithm. In literature, two kinds of adaptive algorithm is presented. One is algorithms which use data of a supervisor and the other is the algorithms which expects the output signal without using data of any supervisor. In this thesis, our goal is to design an algorithm which makes an output signal expection without a supervisor and to simulate the adaptive antenna system.
