Abstract (EN)
The fack that people don't always behave rationally, as expected by economics, under all circumstances, has recently attracted attention and the concept of behavioral economics has begun to be emphasized. In this direction, economics and psychology have combined to try to explain people's irrational behavior. In this thesis, we will focus on the definition of exchange rate, its characteristics and its impact on consumer behavior, and the impact of changes in exchange rates, which have increased significantly with the effect of the pandemic in recent years, on individuals' lives will be examined. In order to provide a more detailed and accurate approach to the subject and to examine the decisions of individuals more clearly, the direction in which they act in the face of these changes and the policies implemented and the direction in which they implement their decisions will be discussed within the framework of behavioral economics.
