Abstract (EN)

Effect of nutrient and mycorrhiza on plant growth and ear quality were investigated on sweet corn in Gazipaşa in 1998. Natural mycorrhiza numbers and soil characters were determinated in soil samples that were collected from experiment area. Merit and Golden Beauty hybrid varieties were used as plant material. Three nutrient doses (GO = 0 kg/da P205 and N, Gl =5 kg/da P205 and 2 kg/da N and G2 = 10 kg/da P2Os and 4 kg/da N) were applied by preparing soil in order to investigating the relationship between phosphorus and mycorrhiza. Mycorrhiza was put in the one side and another side was control. Experiment has been 3 replicants. During experiment, 3 different times biomass measuring have done and looked at root-mycorrhiza infection to show the effect of mycorrhiza on the maize plants growth. End of the experiment, total yield was counted. Beside this, to know ear quality, ear characteristics analys was done. Keywords: Mycorrhizae (G. mosseae), Phosphorus, Sweet Com, Yield, Nutrient Uptake
