Describing the differences of relations that women giving birth to vaginal perceive the birth and nursing care

Abstract (EN)

This study was done as a descriptive research to determine there lation between the perception of giving birth and of nursery care of women who given vaginal birth. The study group was calculated as 391 out of 7893 women who admitted in SBU Van Educationand Research Hospital. For data gathering, survey form, mother's birth perception scale ( Cronbach alpha value 0.85), and Nursery care perception scale ( Cronbach alpha reliability value 0.94) were used. These means of data gathering were conducted between October 20, 2019 and january 1, 2020. This gathered data were interpreted by using mean, Standard deviation, minimum and maximum values, percentiles, independent sample T test, Mann-Whitney U test, Oneway Anova test and Kruska Wallis test on SPSS for Windows ( Statistical Package For Social Sciences).Women perception of giving birth scale mean and median values, health care insuranse, smoking cigarette, pain during giving birth, partner support during pregnancy statistically signifant ( p < 0.05). Women perception of nursery care mean and median values, age, education level, family economic condition, birth number statistically significant ( p< 0.05). Inconclusion, it is found that the level of perception of women of giving birth is high ( ADAÖ mean score is 79.67). The women who perception level of giving birth are high, have also, high perception level of nursery care ( r = 0.305, p<0,001). As result of the research, to increase women perception level of giving birth and the perception level of the nursery care some suggestions were made.
