Abstract (EN)

Süleyman Çelebi's Vesîletü'n-Necât (Mevlid) is the most widely known and read work of Turkish literature. Vesîletü'n-Necât, which has the characteristic features of Old Anatolian Turkish, is analyzed in terms of verb inflection in this thesis. This study, which aims to analyze the verb inflection of Vesîletü'n-Necât with the scientific method traditional in the literature, will be one of the first grammatical studies on the work in question. The data obtained will make an important scientific contribution to the grammatical studies of Old Anatolian Turkish. Verb inflection is realized by morphemes attached to verb roots and stems. In Boz (2015), verb inflection is generally classified under three headings: "morphemes that do not change the word type", "morphemes that change the word type" and "predicate-forming morphemes and morphemes involved in the predicate". In this study, the verb inflection in Vesîletü'n-Necât was analyzed with the aforementioned method and important data were obtained for Old Anatolian Turkish.
