Abstract (EN)
Rotary-type heat exchanger is one of the most important regenerative heat exchangers. This type of heat exchangers are mostly used for waste heat recovery in industry. Rotary-type heat exchangers have various application areas such as gas turbines, thermal power stations, schools, business centers, food industry, drying systems, and nowadays in air-conditioning systems. In this thesis, a rotary-type heat exchanger used for waste heat recovery is considered. Effectiveness of this heat exchanger was investigated experimentally, analytically and numerically for various values of rotational speed and flow rate. Key words: Rotary-type heat exchanger, waste heat recovery, effectiveness.
