Analysis of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Life and Clarinet Concerto

Abstract (EN)

Mozart, one of the most important composers of classical music of the 18th century, is considered to be the genius of music. This genius has signed 626 works in his short 35 – year life. Mozart wrote works in many styles and he changed the music style of his time with his works. He has written ritual music, dance music, Serenade, Symphony, Opera, solo Concerto, string quartet, string quintet, Piano Sonata. Mozart wrote his last Concerto, clarinet Concerto for his friend clarinet virtuoso Stadler in 1791. In this study, at the first part, classical period and Mozart in classical period has been examined. At the second part of the work, Mozart's life -family, early years, tours and last years- has been mentioned. At the third part of this work, works of Mozart has been listed and explained. At the fourth part of the work clarinet has been mentioned. At this part, development of clarinet, part and types of clarinet have been explained. At the fifth part of the work Mozart's clarinet concerto has been analysed.
