Abstract (EN)

In this research, the purpose was to determine the levels of readability of the texts in the course books, which are used in Turkish language teaching to foreigners. In accordance with the purpose, one of the qualitative research-scanning model was used which of datas were acquired by document review. This research was cramped with the course books which fundamental, medium and advanced levels of Gazi TÖMER Turkish for foreigners. Ankara Hitit Turkish for foreigners and the institute Yunus Emre Yedi İklim books. The kevels of readability of each texts in the course books were gone at gradually in the name of frequency and percantege. Determining the levels of readability the formulas developed by Ateşman and Çetinkaya-Uzun were used. In the result of the research, it was observed that the more the levels of the texts increased, the more the difficulty book in fundamental level is Gazi TÖMER and the easiest books in medium and advanced levels are Yedi İklim's teaching set course books.
