The mentality of values and education in the novels Yalnızız, Onuncu Köy and Bozkırdaki Çekirdek

The values related to education have a significiont place in human's life. We have several authors considering the education and the transfer of values as a social responsibility and by means of these they put forth their own educational mentality refering to these matters in their works. For instance Peyami Safa, Fakir Baykurt and Kemal Tahir are some of the well-known authers of whose works refer to the mentality of values and education with their opinions and who contributed to the education and the transfer and values by means of this. The main purpose of this work is to find out the similarities and differences comparing the mentality of values and education in the novels Yalnızız by Peyami Safa, Onuncu Köy by Fakir Baykurt and Bozkırdaki Çekirdek by Kemal Tahir. This work to be called descriptive quality was conducted by the help of model of scanning. The data gained within the scope by scanning Yalnızız by Peyami Safa, Onuncu Köy by Fakir Baykurt, Bozkırdaki Çekirdek by Kemal Tahir was analized and classified according to the purpose with document evaluation method. The writers' values and education understandings / philosophies were compared by examining the values that are important for raising young generations and the reflections of education terms in novels. As a result, ıt was tired to throw a light on the happenings education teaching that occured in Republic Period within the context of these three novels and novelists.
