Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, some novel phthalocyanine derivatives with azo dyes containing iodine were synthesized by microwave assisted method. Total 18 novel compounds were synthesized including 6 starting materials and 8 phthalocyanines. In the first part of the thesis, aniline and p-iodoaniline were reacted by 2-methoxyphenol respectively and compounds 1 and 2 were obtained. Respectively were reacted by 4-nitrofthalonitrile and 4,5-dichlorofthalonitrile in DMF in the presence of K2CO3 to synthesize (3, 4, 5, 6) pthalonitrile compounds.In the second part of the thesis, these obtained pthalonitrile compounds were reacted with various metal salts in the microwave medium which resulted in novel phthalocyanines as products and zinc and cobalt phthalocyanines from those obtained products were applied to aggregation studies. Synthesized compounds were characterized by using 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV-Vis, MS and IR spectroscopic methods. Keywords: Microwave, phthalocyanine, agregation, azo dyes
