Hidayet Sayın with plays and life

Hidayet Sayın emphasizes the general facts as, to come to terms with the life experiences and the society which makes him exist, to seek a place for himself through the world?s changing values , to head for a new existentialist stage, to question both himself and the world he lives in, in his themes and chain of events that he creates. In the introduction part, it?s targeted to establish the role of Hidayet Sayın in the traditional literature by taking a quick look at the traditional literature in Turkish Theatre. In our literature custom which has a short history of 150 years , authors emergent after 1950?s have played a huge role in revolution of the Turkish Theatre. When we come to 1960?s ; 1960 Constitution which effected all fields of life , has effected the branch of literature as well and became the basis of a lot of novelties. Hidayet Sayin?s arise meets the same time. Dating from 1964, which the play ?Topuzlu? was on stage , Hidayet Sayin who talks about the reflections of realities of individuals and society becomes one of the most important authors of the traditional literature of Turkish Theatre. In the first chapter , the authors life story ,which forms his adventure in literature takes place. Hidayet Sayin pictures his own period and the facts that he came across very successfully. He perceives the individuals as an author first and then he reflects these people and realities in his plays. In the second chapter, the plays are discussed according to their themes as; ?Village Based Plays?, ? Historical Plays? and ?The Plays Discussing the families and individuals in city life?. As a result, Hidayet Sayin, who chooses his Characters from the real life and feeds them with social realities, brings his own life story together with his play characters and exhibits the reality of man with all its bareness.
