Abstract (EN)
Food, which is a biological need, which is an indispensable condition for sustaining life, has been at the top of the agenda of human beings. How did this phenomenon, which is a physiological necessity, travel through the fast and cruel course of time? Where has it evolved? The phenomenon of eating, which accompanies the happiest moments to the saddest pains, has continued its existence with its changing forms and meanings. The principle that the only constant thing is change has also been valid for food. It still continues its journey through the stone block in the cave to the magnificent, ostentatious banquet tables and restaurants. Food, which has become the most important step of socialization in today's world; age, economic income level, geography, belief, etc. Meal accompanied the moments when "together", "unifying", "friendship", "support" and "socialization" took place in every period and in every age, in harmony with many phenomena. This study aimed to investigate the effects and role of eating on socialization.
