Abstract (EN)

In the scope of this thesis, polymeric linseed oil (PLO) was obtained by autooxidation of linseed oil. Autooxidation process was carried out under daylight, with air oxygen at room temperature. The obtained PLO was separately subjected to free radical polymerization (FRP) with tertiary butyl acrylate (tBA) and methyl acrylate (MA) monomers, and PLO-g-PtBA and PLO-g-PMA graft copolymers were synthesized. Polymerization kinetics were examined. Structural characteristics of the graft copolymers obtained were examined by nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR), fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR), gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Thermal characterizations were analyzed using thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) techniques.
