Abstract (EN)
Course books have an important place in materials of education. Course books should be prepared according to the needs of the age. The basic aim of this survey is to determine the views of teachers about visual design-content-language and expression-assessmentand evaluation of 9th class?s course book of physics prepared according to teaching physics programme renewed in 2007.`Book evaluation scale based on 57 questions? prepared for this aim was applied to 88 teachers working in different schools. According to the results of the survey, teachers have given average 3.2 points out of 5 to 9th class?s course book of physics in accordance with visual design-content-language and expression-assessmentand evaluation. As this result is lower than the criteria ? 4.5 points ? of Ministry of National Education, it has been understood that this book is not well-qualified enough to meet the expectations of teachers.Key Words: Teaching programme, physics education, course book.
